Organise your own event
There are plenty of exciting ways to get involved to help raise funds for the Bassetlaw Hospital Emergency Village Appeal! Whether it’s with friends and family, or you fancy taking on a personal challenge, our fundraising team is here to support you every step of the way and your incredible efforts will help us reach our £100,000 target to fund additional extras that will make a real difference to our patients, their families, and our community faster.
Below are just a few suggestions to get your creative juices flowing…
- Host a ‘Robin Hood’ day – the theme of the overall department is Sherwood Forest so why not host a Robin Hood themed day. You can dress up, host a screening of the Robin Hood films – the possibilities are endless.
- Bake Off – challenge friends to see who can make the best cakes or baked goods and sell them for a donation.
- Match funding – if you work for a business, why not ask your employer if they will match fund any funds you raise?
- Organise a gala dinner – go glitz and glam and organise a fancy gala dinner, invite your friends, family and colleagues and have a night to remember!
- A sponsored month – no chocolate, no alcohol, or a daily mile, daily press-up challenge!
- Online auction – sell your pre-loved items online and donate the proceeds.
- Art exhibition – showcase local artists and raise money through an entry fee
- Birthday giving – ask your loved ones to donate in lieu of gifts
- Coffee morning – get together and enjoy a cuppa while raising money
We can provide collection tins/ buckets to help with your fundraising efforts and if required we can also provide our charity t-shirts, stickers, pens and pin badges to help you raise additional funds.
