Make a Local Impact That Matters – Sponsor Your NHS Charity in 2026

Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals Charity is calling on local businesses to partner with the charity in 2026 through a range of exciting sponsorship opportunities, helping to support patients, families and NHS staff across Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Bassetlaw Hospital and Montagu Hospital.

From headline sponsorships and community events to festive campaigns and corporate partnerships, businesses can play a vital role in helping fund projects and equipment that go beyond NHS budgets and make a life-changing difference to patient care.

Every year, the charity organises a range of successful fundraising events and appeals, including the BIG DRI Abseil, Afternoon Tea at Hodsock Priory, the Super Star Raffle and the much-loved Our Shining Stars campaign.

By becoming a sponsor, businesses can not only support their local NHS, but also benefit from meaningful community engagement, increased brand visibility and valuable opportunities to connect with thousands of staff, patients and supporters across South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire.

Recent charity funding has helped provide:

  • Memory boxes and keepsakes for end-of-life patients and families
  • Toys and activities for paediatric waiting areas
  • Calming artwork for clinical spaces
  • Bereavement room furnishings for grieving families
  • Specialist sensory equipment supporting vulnerable patients

Partnership opportunities are flexible and can be tailored to suit businesses of all sizes, with packages ranging from event sponsorships to long-term corporate partnerships and gifts in kind.

Adrian Petts, Head of Charity for Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals Charity said:

“We are incredibly proud to work alongside local businesses who share our commitment to supporting patients and families across our hospitals. By partnering with our charity, organisations can make a genuine difference in their community while demonstrating their support for the NHS and the people who rely on it every day.”

Long-term supporter Albemarle Homes has partnered with Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals Charity since 2021 through a unique collaboration linked to the sale of homes across their Vicarage Fields and Westmoor Grange developments.

Through the partnership, Albemarle Homes donates £100 from every house sale to the charity, helping to support patients, families and NHS staff across local hospitals. In return, the charity has supported the promotion of the company’s keyworker discount scheme and helped raise awareness of the developments among NHS colleagues, resulting in the sale of a number of homes which may not have happened otherwise.

Since the partnership began, Albemarle Homes has donated an incredible £31,900, with additional funds still expected from the final plots at the Westmoor Grange site.

Darryl Barker, Managing Director of Albemarle Homes, said: “We’re very proud to have supported Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals Charity and delighted to have donated more than £30,000 through the partnership. Knowing those funds are making a real difference for patients, families and NHS staff across our community makes it especially worthwhile.

“The partnership has also given us the opportunity to connect with NHS colleagues and raise awareness of our developments through the charity’s internal communications. It has been a positive relationship for both organisations, and we’re pleased to continue supporting such an important local cause.”
