Giving in Memory

Remembering a loved one through in memory donations is a wonderful way to pay tribute to that special person.

There are many ways you can support and every donation you make in their name will go on to help us fund things such as research into better treatments, investing into new state of the art equipment or it could help fund those small things which make a big difference to our patients or colleagues. Rest assured, you can be sure that your donation will the cause closest to you and your family’s hearts.

Here are just some of the ways in which you can donate and fundraise in memory of a loved one.

Donations in lieu of flowers

Many families wish to have donations in lieu of flowers at funerals and choose to support a charity close to their heart.

We can provide collection envelopes for a funeral or memorial service.  These envelopes make collecting money on the day easier and can be personalised with the name of the person you are remembering.

Please give us plenty of notice so we can have your tin or envelopes ready for collection in time for your funeral/memorial service.

Order a collection tin

We can provide collection tins or buckets for your service. Please contact our Charity Team on 01302 644 244 or email  dbth.charity@nhs.net to arrange pick up.

Please ensure you give us plenty of notice so we can have your tin or envelopes ready for collection in time for your funeral/memorial service.
