The Big DRI Abseil postponed – new date to be confirmed

We are sorry to share that the Big DRI Abseil, originally scheduled for Friday 20 September, has had to be postponed. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we’ve made the difficult decision to reschedule the event to a later date.

This was not a decision taken lightly, as we know how much preparation has been building amongst our supporters. All participants have been contacted directly and we’d like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding at this time.

Rest assured, the abseil will still be going ahead – just a little later than planned! We’re working hard behind the scenes to confirm a new date and will share details as soon as they’re finalised. When it does take place, it promises to be a memorable challenge, offering thrill-seekers the chance to abseil in support of their local hospital.

Whether you’re an adrenaline junkie or simply want to challenge yourself while supporting patients and staff at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals (DBTH) Trust, this unique event is not to be missed.

If you’d like to take part when the new date is confirmed, you can still sign up here: https://fundraise.dbthcharity.co.uk/event/big-dri-abseil
