Funeral Collections

Asking friends and family to donate at your loved one’s funeral is a lovely way to celebrate their life and support a cause close to your hearts. There are different ways to give in memory at a funeral of a loved one and we can help you make it as easy as possible.

Online funeral collections

Many people choose to set up an online funeral collection page which you can personalise by adding special photos and messages.

We’ve partnered with MuchLoved which is also often used by funeral directors.

It is an easy way for friends and family to donate to the funeral online and can be shared with anyone unable to attend the funeral.

Collecting donations in person

If you choose to have a memorial collection at your loved one’s service, you may like to use our donation envelopes or collection tins/ buckets.

If you would like to order any envelopes or a tin/ bucket , please call us on 01302 648 282 or email dbth.charity@nhs.net.

We kindly ask for any cheques to be made payable to ‘Doncaster & Bassetlaw Hospital Charity’.

If you are making funeral arrangements, your Funeral Director may be able to help organise the collection and many also often provide special collection boxes for you to use.

We understand how challenging a time this can be and if there is anything we can do to make things easier, please do get in touch, we’re here to help.
