Join us for our first ever Pyjama Day to help raise funds for the Bassetlaw Hospital Emergency Village Appeal
When?
Friday 19th July (or a day of your choice in July that works for you)
Where?
At school, at work, at your community group – basically anywhere!
Join us for our first ever Pyjama Day to help raise funds for the Bassetlaw Emergency Village Appeal.
Pyjamas are a staple piece of clothing for people spending time in hospitals and their familiar pyjamas can be a great source of comfort. Pyjamas are there for us when we need them most, whether we’re unwell or just requiring a lazy day and we need you to be there for us to help us raise the £100,000 target so we can fund the amazing projects included within the appeal.
Whether you are a school, company, community group or individual, we need you to pull out the comfiest (funkiest) pyjamas you own and bring your friends, students, colleagues and everyone you know together.
You can join us for our main Pyjama Day on Friday 19th July or host your PJ Day on any date that suits you.
The funds you raise on the day will help us fund wonderful projects for the Children’s Assessment Unit, Emergency Department and Assessment Treatment Centre at Bassetlaw Hospital, including a brand new outdoor play area.
Why not go above and beyond with your fundraising by running additional fundraising ideas such as:
- Organise a breakfast themed food sale: sell food such as waffles, pancakes and cereal bars or even have breakfast for lunch!
- Host a sponsored read-a-thon: ask the children to bring in a selection of books and their sleeping bag/blanket to make a cosy reading environment. Ask for sponsorship per page that is read.
- Plan a bedtime themed sale: ask everyone to bring in a teddy and/or book for a ‘bring and buy’ sale.
